Catnip Glycerite is a gentle, calming glycerite supports restful sleep, nervous system relaxation and digestive ease, especially when tension or anxiety show up as body tightness, restless energy, or stomach discomfort.
Catnip is a mild nervine relaxant, antispasmodic, and carminative, making it ideal for both adults and children who need gentle nervous system regulation.
Formulated to be ragweed relative -free, immune -neutral, suitable for sensitive individuals.
Ingredients: Fresh Catnip (Nepeta cataria), Distilled Water (decoction), vegetable glycerin, grain alcohol (20%)
Suggested Use:
Adult: 1-2 mL in water or tea up to 3 x daily for gentle nervous system & digestive support. May support sleep if taken before rest. Also, supportive during moments of anxiety, tension or stomach upset.
Elders: Reduce dose: Start with .5-1 mL 1-2 x daily
Children (6-12): 1/4 -1/2 of adult dose(5-15 drops 1-2x daily), adjust for weight or alcohol content (20% for shelf stability). Dilute in water, juice or tea to further reduce alcohol exposure.

Reproductive /Menstrual
*Use Caution if during heavy menstrual cycles or with known uterine fibroids. *Avoid if pregnant due to mild uterine-stimulating & relaxing effects. *Can be used postpartum or while breastfeeding in moderation (Traditionally used in gripe water for infants)
Autoimmune & Mast Cell
* Safe: Does not stimulate or suppress immune function. Works through the nervous & digestive systems, not the immune system- making it safe for histamine sensitive or mast cell reactive individuals
Kidney & Liver
*Kidney Safe: Mild diuretic, but gentle and non-straining. Unless dehydration is present for kidney disease or low kidney function individuals.
Liver safe: No known hepatic toxicity or drug-herb interactions at standard doses. Actually mildly supportive to digestion and bile flow.
Medication Interactions:
None significant documented. Possibly additive effect with sedatives or antispasmodic but so mild its rarely a concern.
